Summer Jam emphasizes practical playing experience through a variety of classes, clinics and performance activities for today's players.

All participants will be placed in ensembles with musicians of similar training and ability. A recording of your work (DVD or CD) and a live performance at a local club are included in the 9-or-10-day sessions.

Jam Sessions are held 9 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday with classes from 9 AM – noon; an hour lunch break where participants bring their own lunch and eat together at the school; and jam/practice sessions from 1 – 3 PM.
