Gleeksman-Kohn Children's Choir:
Open by Audition to Students in Grades 3-8
Available at the Mary Louise Curtis, West Philadelphia, Germantown and Camden Branches, for children age 8 through 13. The program provides a point of access to music instruction, develops basic musicianship skills,prepares standard and innovative works for performance, and brings together children from diverse backgrounds and levels of talent to work as one towards a shared goal. The choirs meet weekly at each location and perform together several times throughout the year.
Joseph and Marie Field Chamber Music Program: All Ages
Settlement offers a full program of Chamber Music ensembles in all instrumental and vocal areas is available for students at all levels of proficiency. Interested students should inquire at the Branch office.
Junior (Ages 8-13) and Intermediate (Ages 11-15) String Orchestras
Excellent ensemble experience for string players and a good training ground for Advanced and Chamber Orchestra members. Weekly rehearsals take place at various Branches. Interested students should inquire at the Branch office.
